The Pride of Lions

We'd like to thank the Kenilworth Lions Club for a fantastic donation to the Repair

Café Kenilworth.

Their donation means that we can forge ahead with our plans, even though we've had to postpone the first repair day.

It's through donations like this, that we're able to keep running.

Pride of Lions Grant

Kenilworth Lions Club is part of the world’s largest service club organisation; Lions Clubs International. Founded in 1917 and now with more than 45,000 clubs in over 200 countries throughout the world Lions Clubs International have a total membership of more than 1.3 million.

Active men and women around the world are supporting both local charitable and community causes and global projects in diverse geographic areas. As Lions Clubs International members they volunteer for many different kinds of community projects including caring for the environment, feeding the hungry, supporting seniors and the less able, and support in fighting blindness.

They really are heroes. OK, maybe we'll reserve that term for the millions of NHS workers right now, but they're certainly worth shouting about, and we're very grateful for their support.

If you'd like to find out more about them, you can find them on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/kenilworthlionsclub/ or of course, visit their website (links in the article).
